You might have the timeline wrong. I got on in August 2020 and stayed active through December 2020 hosting the first virtual co-working club. Clubhouse really opened up to a lot of new users in November 2020 at which point we started getting a lot of trolls and by January it wasn't worth the effort. Folks were no longer brought in with personal welcome parites and it became an uneducated free for all.
